About the Event

Guided hike in the Cascades. More details to come!

This will be a walking tour in which participants are asked to bring a sack lunch and water to drink. We will carpool to the trailhead. OSU Extension agent Lorelle Sherman will guide us along with Mike Albrecht from Benton county. These pristine meadows are located at an elevation of about 4,000 feet about 25 miles east of Sweet Home. The geology and wildfire history of this area will also be explained.

Registration is required.
