Every profession has a set of basic tools. Carpenters, plumbers, electricians and yes, foresters do too.

4-Her Ryan Henry recently interviewed Lee Peterman to find out what are the basic tools used on a Linn County tree farm.

Peterman is a newly minted OSU Extension master woodlands manager. He is a past president of the Linn County Small Woodlands Association and is active with the group. He is one of the owners of the Bogwood Forest, an 80-acre parcel he manages with his partner Shirley Jolliff.

In the video, Peterman focuses on the tools that he has found most useful in his day-to-day activities. It is not intended to show all the tools out there. We hope this might help you find useful tools for maintaining your property.
