Join the Oregon State University (OSU) Extension Fire Program and the Oak Creek Conservancy for an informative field tour focusing on the use of prescribed fire in the mid-Willamette Valley.
The tour is designed to provide insights into the benefits and logistics of prescribed fire practices in the valley. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the Oak Creek Conservancy’s efforts, discuss site preparation and burn planning, and explore how land owners in the region can collaborate by forming a Prescribed Burn Association (PBA).
The event will be held at the Oak Creek Conservancy — a 36-acre parcel northwest of Corvallis. Location details will be sent to participants.
